Dispense a medicine box

Perform dispensing of a medicine box with PharmaliZr, the system for fighting falsified medicines in France.

Dispensing a medicine box consists of removing a product from stock and delivering it to the patient. To do this, you must go to the dispensing zone and scan the box. Once scanned and identified, the medicine can be safely delivered to the patient.

Management of serialized medicine dispensing #

To perform dispensing of a medicine box, simply select the “Dispense” tab in the interface and scan the box in this new context. The box then changes to “Dispensed” status.

The manual quarantine procedure is identical to that of serialization.

Some hospital pharmacies choose to scan medicine boxes only upon their arrival at the PUI. With PharmaliZr, you can scan your medicine box directly in the “Dispense” context, without going through the “Serialization” context. Thus, you scan the box only once for both operations 💡.
